01 — Positioning

A different
category of tool.

Apollo and ZoomInfo answer "which companies exist?" Clay enriches lists you already have. LLMs do one-off searches. Rally answers the harder, earlier question — "which businesses actually match my criteria?" — and runs until the job is done.

02 — Transparency

Watch the agent
show its work.

Every Rally run produces a structured sourcing trail — the searches it ran, the pages it inspected, what qualified, what didn't, and why. Sourcing memory persists between runs so coverage compounds instead of resetting.

03 — Workflow

Six steps.
One natural-language brief.

Rally is structured the way a good sourcing analyst works — clarify the brief, plan the search, execute, qualify, extract, and track coverage until the goal is met.

STEP 01

Clarify requirements

Rally reads your brief and asks targeted follow-ups: geographic scope, qualification thresholds, exclusion filters, contact requirements, output format, target quantity.

geo scopefilterscontact reqsoutput
STEP 02

Build a search plan

Before browsing, the agent assembles a structured strategy: which directories, map sources, niche listings, social platforms, and fallback paths to follow — and what qualification signals to watch for.

directoriesmapsniche listingssignals
STEP 03

Discover across the web

Rally searches Google, Maps, business directories, social platforms, booking platforms, and public databases — and dynamically expands into adjacent paths as new sources surface.

STEP 04

Qualify against criteria

Each candidate gets inspected: page features, technology signals, social activity, review thresholds, software fingerprints. Rally's filtering is reasoning-based, not keyword-based.

STEP 05

Extract and verify contacts

Public emails, contact forms, phone numbers, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp — extracted, deduplicated, and verified where possible. Structured output you can pipe straight into outreach.

STEP 06

Track coverage to goal

Goal-based execution. Rally keeps running — retrying failed sources, expanding breadth, exploring alternative paths — until the target count is reached or the search space is exhausted.

04 — Differentiator

Discovery is easy.
Qualification is the work.

Most tools stop once they've found something that contains a keyword. Rally keeps going — actually checking whether the business meets your criteria, the way a researcher would, page by page.

⊘ Static databases & keyword tools

Returns 1,200 "cafés in London" — most are noise.

  • ×Stale records, closed locations, wrong addresses
  • ×No way to ask "uses Square POS" or "no loyalty program"
  • ×Smaller and newer businesses simply aren't indexed
  • ×You spend the next 3 hours filtering manually in a spreadsheet
  • ×Credits burn whether the lead qualified or not
● Rally — qualification-first sourcing

Returns 137 cafés that actually use Square and don't run a loyalty program.

  • Inspects each website for the requested signal
  • Reasons about nuanced criteria — booking systems, review thresholds, hiring activity, language
  • Discovers fragmented businesses outside static databases
  • Filters, dedupes, and produces a clean outreach list
  • Every lead arrives with a sourcing trail you can audit
05 — Briefs

A taste of what people
actually ask Rally.

Plain English in. Structured, qualified outreach lists out. The kind of brief that would take a sourcing intern two days runs in the background while you do something else.

06 — Who uses Rally

Built for operators
who actually do the sourcing.

Solo founders running their own outbound. Agencies running campaigns for ten clients at once. Recruiters in fragmented industries. Anyone who's ever stared at a Google Maps tab at 11pm trying to find one more lead.

Agencies
Run targeted campaigns for clients without buying a per-seat database. Spin up sourcing runs per project, hand off the trail.
"We replaced our sourcing intern and our Apollo seat. Same week."
— Founder, growth agency · 8 ppl
Recruiters
Niche industries with fragmented web presence — exactly the gap traditional databases miss. Rally finds the long tail.
"Finally a tool that finds the studios — not just the franchises."
— Talent partner, hospitality
Outbound teams
Custom qualification logic per ICP. Stop manually filtering noisy exports — get clean, qualified lists from the start.
"Reply rates went up the week we stopped sourcing from Apollo."
— Head of outbound, SaaS · Series A
Solo founders
Pay-per-search means you don't sign a $1k/mo contract for one campaign. Run a brief, get the leads, move on.
"My first 200 customers came out of two Rally runs."
— Founder, vertical SaaS
Local vendors
Selling to cafés, salons, gyms? Rally surfaces the businesses, qualifies for the tech you replace, hands you the contacts.
"It's like Yelp + due diligence in one pass."
— GTM lead, POS startup
Partnerships
Find candidate partners that already use the right stack and operate at the right scale — without 40 LinkedIn tabs.
"Our partner pipeline tripled in a quarter."
— Partnerships, dev tools
07 — Pricing

Cheap enough
to actually use.

Pick a subscription if you source every week. Pay per search if you don't. Either way, Rally is designed to come in at a fraction of the traditional Apollo + Clay + intern stack — no per-seat lock-in, no minimum commitment.

08 — FAQ

Answers, on the record.

The questions we hear most from operators evaluating Rally against their existing sourcing stack.

Q.01How is Rally different from Apollo or ZoomInfo?+
Apollo and ZoomInfo are static databases — they answer "which companies exist?" using pre-indexed datasets, which means they struggle with smaller, newer, niche, or local businesses, and they can't reason about nuanced criteria like "uses Square POS" or "no loyalty program." Rally researches the live web in real time and qualifies each business against your specific requirements before returning it.
Q.02How is Rally different from Clay?+
Clay is excellent at enrichment — turning a list you already have into a more useful list. Rally focuses on the earlier, harder problem: discovering and qualifying the businesses in the first place. The two tools compose well; Rally produces the seed list, Clay enriches it further.
Q.03Can I just use ChatGPT or Claude with web search?+
For one-off lookups, sure. But generic LLMs lack persistent sourcing state, retry logic, deduplication, coverage tracking, and goal-based execution — they tend to return five loosely-relevant matches and stop. Rally is purpose-built for sourcing as a workflow, not as a chat turn.
Q.04Where does the data come from? Is this legal?+
Rally only uses publicly available web data — the same pages a human researcher would consult: search engines, business directories, public maps listings, public social profiles, and business websites. Contacts are limited to publicly published information. Rally does not access private data, gated platforms, or paid databases.
Q.05How does goal-based sourcing work?+
You specify a target — say, 500 qualified leads — and Rally keeps running. It retries failed sources, expands into adjacent discovery paths, and tracks sourcing memory between runs so coverage compounds. The run completes when the target is met or the search space is genuinely exhausted.
Q.06What does pricing actually look like?+
Pricing on this page is illustrative ahead of launch. Rally will support a free tier, a flat operator subscription with pay-per-search usage, and custom volume pricing for agencies and teams. The goal is to make high-quality sourcing meaningfully cheaper than the traditional Apollo + Clay + intern stack.
Q.07When can I use it?+
